Privacy Notice

What we collect

• Contact and order details: name, email, phone, state, address, items ordered, payment method chosen, and messages you send us.
• Sell-to-us information: home address, date of birth, government ID type, number and images, photos and descriptions of items, verification results, and payout details.
• Technical data: IP address and timestamps when you submit forms or accept terms, and basic server logs.
• We do not collect full card numbers. Card payments and card authorizations are handled by our payment processor.

Why we collect it

• To fill orders, quote and pay for items you sell us, ship and return items, and contact you.
• To verify identity and keep the records precious metal dealers must keep under state law (for example, Texas Occupations Code Chapter 1956) and federal anti-money-laundering, sanctions and tax-reporting rules.
• To prevent fraud and the sale of stolen property.

How we protect your ID

• ID images, ID numbers and dates of birth are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored and are never sent by email.
• Only authorized Fuse Bullion staff can view them, through an authenticated admin system, and every view is logged.
• We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including those required by the New York SHIELD Act and Texas law, and will notify you of a data breach as required by law.

Who we share it with

• Law enforcement and regulators when the law requires (for example, purchase reports and police holds).
• Service providers acting for us: identity verification, payment processing, shipping carriers and insurers, email delivery and hosting, each bound to protect it.
• The IRS where tax reporting is required.
• We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

How long we keep it

Transaction and identity records are kept for 7 years, the longest period required by the laws that apply to us (federal Bank Secrecy Act records are kept 5 years; New York City requires certain electronic precious-metal records for 6 years), and then deleted automatically. Waitlist and contact messages are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

You may ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing [email protected]. We will honor deletion requests except for records the law requires us to keep.
